Summary: Dearest Josephine is about a girl named Josie. After losing her father she moves to a 18th century mansion where she discovers letters written to a girl named Josephine from a man named Elias, one of the previous owners of the mansion. After reading the letters Josie falls in love with Elias and begins to question her life.
Why You’ll Like It: The main character has gone through a lot of hard things in her life and despite that, she isn’t whiny. She can realize her mistakes and chooses correctly in the end. The background is set in the English countryside and the other is great at transporting you to the scene. I’ve read this book at least 30 times and it never gets old. Plus, the book cover is really pretty.
