Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi - Don’t Waste your Time

“Shatter Me” is a dystopian romance about a girl named Juliette.

Juliette Ferraris has been trapped in a cell for 264 days by the Reestablishment.

One day she is told that she is getting a roommate in her cell, and everything changes for the worst. Juliette is whiny, self-absorbed and annoying. She is not a person that I would like to be friends with in real life and I frankly didn’t care that all these terrible things were happening to her because I didn’t like her at all. The idea of the story was good but I couldn’t get past how much I disliked the main character.

Her writing style detracted from the book and kept interrupting the story.

There are many other books in the series but honestly, don’t waste your time reading them. There are other good books out there. Kenji could not even save the series from being ruined. Just saying.
